I was in a really strange mood when I painted this. I felt like an Alien trapped in an Abyss. I didn't have a set plan before I started painting. I think that my color class influenced me, after learning how certain paints react in wierd ways.

I imagine it as an octopuss on the outside of a submarine porthole. I can also imagine it as a creature outside of a rocketship on an Alien Planet. It's interesting to see what others see in it.

I recieved several positive reactions to it during the 'MotleyArt' show on Nov. 4th '06.
