Dis and Yancy

In '05 I went to a club in SF called '1984' they play '80's music. While I was there I sat at the bar and pulled out my sketchbook drawing this little sketch. I'm not sure why this sketch came about, maybe it was the atmosphere and around this time my girlfriend was cheating on me.
In the summer of '06 I decided to make it into a painting. I painted it at the last minute for a local artshow in Newark CA.

The Image I have here isn't the final painting, I forgot to take it before I sold it. Darnit, sorry!
I named it 'Dis and Yancy' because it reminds me of 'Sid and Nancy'
Right: The Original sketch that I did in '05 at the club. The little faces in the heads and the cigarette were included in the final painting.

I hope that I'll get a copy of it someday.
