Nihon 'Pop'
One of the big assignments in my color class. The assignment was to pick two sets of complementary colors. I picked Red and Green, Orange and Blue. Mix them into neutral grays then mix the grays with the original colors. We were allowed to tint the colors with white. The painting doesn't have any yellow or violet. The composition needed to be based on a world Cultural design. I picked japanese 'Pop' Culture, integrating famous icons from Japanese TV and Movies. |
