Evergrey needed some photos taken of herself. I volunteered my 'Eye' and I had a lot of fun shooting her, it was also a nice way to get to know her. This pose in particular made me happy, I even had the original photo as my desktop background for a few months.

I started taking a class and painting with oils in the spring of '06 and for the final class project I needed to pick either a Still life, Portrait or a Landscape. I wanted to pick something that combined them all so this painting came about.

I got an 'A' for this and for my final grade. This painting still makes me happy whenever I see it. :)
