This was a lot of fun to paint, creating the ambient green light and the bright oiley highlights that follow the contours of her body was new and challeging.

The model is Asian so her skin tone has more of a 'yellow ochre' tint to it and adding a little reddish blush gives the painting life, while complementing the green.

This painting and the 'Pink Body' painting were the reason I was kicked off MySpace. I should have known better, but hey it's a lesson learned, even Michelangelo was censored for his nudes. Not to say MySpace is comparable to the Pope. But censorship only effects things within that censors time, forgotten or looked down upon by future peoples.
